Carol Lalonde Memorial Bench — update
Many of you will know that we lost a long time CVES Board member in 2017. Carol Lalonde worked tirelessly behind the scenes helping to keep everything in good shape at the park for everyone to enjoy. She was always one of the first to volunteer to help no matter what the task and we miss her cheerful presence very much.
We have commemorated her with a park bench placed on the grassy area north of the bleachers by the pond and looking up the hill. Many thanks to those who donated — the bench is a wonderful remembrance and will bring many years of pleasure to those who rest there and enjoy our beautiful park.
