Campbell Valley Equestrian Society

Note that the hog fuel and sand riding rings are closed from November to March or April (depending on when the weather dries out.) The rings are not well drained and the resulting deep footing is unsafe for horses and makes the ring surfaces susceptible to damage.

The Campbell Valley Equestrian Society (CVES) is a non-profit organization that is run by volunteers with all revenue generated being put back into the facilities at the park. CVES built and maintains the riding ring, cross-country jumps and the corrals at the park under an agreement with Metro Vancouver Parks. Beyond maintaining the facilities, CVES organizes Dressage, Jumper and Cross-country schooling days and the exciting the 3 Day Horse Trials in August.

Carol Lalonde Memorial Bench — update

Many of you will know that we lost a long time CVES Board member in 2017. Carol Lalonde worked tirelessly behind the scenes helping to keep everything in good shape at the park for everyone to enjoy. She was always one of the first to volunteer to help no matter what the task and we miss her cheerful presence very much.

We have commemorated her with a park bench placed on the grassy area north of the bleachers by the pond and looking up the hill. Many thanks to those who donated — the bench is a wonderful remembrance and will bring many years of pleasure to those who rest there and enjoy our beautiful park.

Our location

The park address is 1255 208th Street, Langley BC Canada. (Note: No mail service here.)
