This is a great one-day introduction to eventing or a chance to try a different division. The competition includes dressage and cross country run on the same day, with divisions from Intro to Novice. Intro will be the little logs on the ground that we use for the Eventing Kindergarten but will be a longer course. The Beginner to Novice courses will be similar to the 2023 Horse Trials but the courses will be a little shorter and half the fences will be show jumps. This year the CVES 2 Phase Eventing Derby is running as a Provincially (HCBC) sanctioned competition. It will be a slightly different format from the 2 Phase competitions in the past. All competitors will only need to have their HCBC membership.
